It doesn’t feel right to ignore ‘urgent’ things.
If feels like they start to pile up all around you, and that there will ‘just be too much to do’.
It feels like you can’t possibly stop to meditate for ten minutes on the middle of Queens Blvd before you get to work, because, you have to get those extra ten minutes in at work to ‘do things’.
It feels like you can’t possibly ignore your emails for four hours to work on that big project, there will ‘just be too many’.
But the truth is, you’ll be able to get them all done. Some of them will even resolve themselves while they are waiting for you.
The reverse is that if you never block off any time for important things, like sanity & long-term projects, those things will never, ever get done.
