“The only time I smile is when you leave. You never want to talk about what’s really going on. Every time I try to, it ends in a fight. The rest of the time, you’re happy being ignorant.”
That was an actual thought I had about 2 years ago. I know, because I wrote it down.
The funny thing is, fast-forward a little bit, and the anger that created that thought is gone. I’ve let it go.
I never spoke those words. It’s possible that if I had, it would have led to something healthy. It’s also possible that it would have led to something unhealthy!
No matter now.
The point is that anger is a natural part of your life, and it will pass. It will not stay with you forever.
Even if it takes a really, really long time.
One way or the other, even if it’s at the very end, you’re going to realize that.
