If you listen to or read about how ‘success’ is achieved, you will consistently find that it is never overnight.
Pluck any example you like from any domain. Facebook, Google, the light bulk, the assembly line, a New York Times Bestseller, an athletic champion … the list goes on.
None of them got there quickly.
Now, what about failure? How is failure ‘achieved’? When do we quit?
We don’t just up & quit one day, either. We quit little by little.
First, we cut a corner here. Then, we skip a day there. Then, weeks later, it’s really easy to just stop.
F*ck that. And I rarely curse on this blog.
Don’t give in to that. Not for one rep, not for one line, and not for one minute.
There are only two paths you can walk. One is to give it the best you can all the time.
The other one is anything less.
